Deal Alert!!!!!
09/28/18 5:14 AM

Just wanted to pass along some info to those considering a center lift paddock stand.
I did my homework, looked at all the suppliers (Bursig, ABBA, etc.) and slipped up on a brand I had never heard of, Engineered For Speed. I got an amazing deal on the stand and frame adapter and I must say the quality of the parts are very high. It takes some time getting her dialed in the first time but after that you can have both tires off the ground safely in seconds.
The seller is an Ebayer and I also have to give this guy credit for his customer service skills. Dale (the owner) answered my questions in minutes and boy did I have questions. I reminded him the ZX14R is a 600lb beast. He replied "no problem for this lift". I got the lift for $175.00 and got the frame adapter for $54.00. For a total of $229.00

Here is the link for the stand:https://www.ebay.com/itm/ENGINEERED-FOR-SPEED-E4S-Paddock-Stand-SMI2092R/152697278926?hash=item238d7791ce:g:0pEAAOSwbEZbGuf6

Here is the link for the adapter: https://www.ebay.com/itm/ENGINEERED-FOR-SPEED-E4S-Paddock-Stand-Adaptor-for-ZX-14R-2006-2015/162896958813?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

Here are some pics of my bike on the stand:

I love deals!!!

nice stand, and beautiful bike. Are those the stock rims stripped of paint? I tried that and it was a bitch to get it all off the textured amuminum parts. I ended up priming mine with etched primer and painting them black. Getting chips off the rim edge so I may strip the paint off the polished aluminum only and leave the black on the textured. I do my own tire changes so I don't worry about paint chips from that.

I still like the Abba skylight best if you know anyone who copied it. I'd buy it.

Great stand type. I have them for both my bikes, though I can't say that they are the same manufacturer - all Bursig knock offs. Regarding the question about the 06 compatibility, typically the mounting kit is made for whatever model you have and ordered separately. Check the web site for availability.

Where are the contact points for lifting? Not seeing anything on their website, and with only one side being shown in yours, leaves me wondering.

Mine is square on both sides. Did you remove the nut and replace it with the adapter? That's what I did.

zxinit: It makes contact through the motor bolt which is replaced with an adapter for the lift and an existing hole in the frame. Very sturdy and yes you can roll the bike around when she's locked in.

Ordered this yesterday morning off Amazon (non prime) and UPS dropped them off today ! Somebody must have hit the wrong button lol. 10 bucks cheaper than the ebay seller too. Thanks for the heads up.

Seems my gloating is a little short lived. I cant get the front wheel off the ground...the rear goes way up. What mounting holes on the plate are you guys using ?

The threaded rod adjusts tilt. Fine tune afterwards with the big gold bolt. Use threadlocker after you get it dialed in

Fooled around with it and got both wheels off the ground but the bike leans to the right...a lot. Seems stable to the touch but unnerving to look at. Anyone else have this problem ?
