Cool. That wil be me. Only thing that could stop it would be a woman but I am on my guard about that. She has to love bikes and love that I love them. I want to see a 70 year old woman on a busa!

I can't wait till I'm in my 70's thinking I can still hang it out on a 14... Or whoever has the world's fastest as if I have to guess.

When I was at West Point, I had this little girl friend who just loved motorcycles. I kept my H1 and later my H2 and Z1R in her parents barn near New Windsor, NY not far from West Point.

Once a week, she went in the barn, pulled the blanket off the bike, KICK started it, and let it run for 5 minutes. I think her old man was putting sta-bil in the gas tanks, I wasn't smart enough then to know to do that.

I bummed a ride from a classmate's brother to her parent's place one spring Saturday, and caught her riding it out on the county road that went by their place. She stopped, we stopped, I got out of the car and thanked the guy, and then got on the back of the H1. She said, "JR, do you want your bike back?". I told her to go ahead and take us back to the house.

That Christmas when she turned 16, she gave me a card. It showed a cartoon of an older guy with flowing, long white hair, riding a motorcycle, with a younger chick on the back.

If I ever messed anything up, it was not doing right by that girl. Sometimes you only get one chance in your life.

But I digress. I'm a bit over a decade away from "70's thinking I can still hang it out on a 14" but if things work out right, I'll make it.

As good as my ZX14 is, it might outlast me.
