yes coot i know... thanks.... going to be alittle crazy at first since i have been riding around on 66.4 hp for the last year and half and almost 15,000 miles.

But i did have the 99 busa which had about 167 hp once piped and maped so i know alittle bit about tq and never ending powerband.

Just remember HP keeps you going at high speed and TQ gets you moving and the ZX-14R have the highest numbers in history stock!!!

coot .... starting to get excited now... before i was kind of looking just to see what the deal was... now im getting close to turning the key.

how would you say the busa and the new 14r measure up as far as handling wise.. the busa does look little more tapered... would you say with the new improvements on the r model that it would feel as light and handle as good as the busa if not better.

I will demo ride the 2012 ZX-14R this Saturday if it does not get rained out and I will get back to you on that and let you know but from what I’m hearing the ZX-14R handles much better than the busa’s and ZX-14 06-11 stock!

cool coot let me know how you make out if it does not rain.... i did a kaw demo ride in lake george ny this summer and they gave me a coupon for 250 off but it expired in nov... but they gave me a fair amount for my trade and a discount on the 2 bikes so it worked out really well.

test drove the 2011 ninja 1000 with the full faring at the demo ride.

What did you think of the Ninja 1000? I hear they are great, but I can only assume not in comparison to the 14R

liked my yamaha little better.

couple things i noticed but it was a short test run,

don't like the straight across motorcross type handlebars like the fz1 has also... that's why i bought the f6zr the bend back like a normal street bike.

the engine felt like it had little move vibes then the yamaha but in some reviews they do say the fz6r motor feels like it's electric so that could be part of it.

taking corners it felt like it wanted to stand back up to quickly.... kind of weird to explain you would have to drive one to see what i mean.

Ninja 1000 does not have bars like the Fz1,, you got on the wrong bike
