OK Hindle is gone I like the dual look better. Can someone fill me in on the difference between the OEM headpipes and the Akra headers ? Bigger diameter -smoother bends ? Thanks.

The Akra header with dual Akra mufflers makes about the same power as the complete Akra exhaust with 1 muffler.
The 2012 stock header doesn't have a cat but I'm not sure if the header on a 2016 has a cat or not.
Akra's lighter too.

I'm just wondering if the Akra will flow that much better and keep the low/midrange power delivery.
If you don't get the full system, you will always be wondering that. There must dyno graphs online that show the slipons v full system.
Low end is improved with Akra full system. IDK what slipons do for the 14 but I saw a dyno of a s1000rr with Akra sliopns and it also improved low end. Not much gain on top.
I'd go with an Akra single and header. Probably cost about the same as slipons and will be a lot lighter and better performance. You'll get used to the single look. It's the traditional race setup. Add some cool stuff to the left side to balance off the coolness.

Suzy, I was at Ivan's today. I asked him about the header for u.
He said the 4 into 2 Akra header works just as well as their 4 into 1.
You're gonna be happy.

Hank thanks for the inquiry ! I installed it Monday and so far I'm impressed especially since the pipe diameter's are not as large as I thought. I'm using two bros slips and they fit perfect. With my stock ecu low end power seems much improved vs stock header w/two bros. I don't know if I'm describing this correctly but the exhaust pulse's seem to have a shorter frequency vs stock or my Hindle which makes the motor seem smoother. Its quiet enough to where you would never know there were two bros on it unless you looked. Now I'm waiting for my other ecu to be flashed for the akro and I'll try to get it dynoed then.
