For all you old bastards and young ones too,who owned a z1.you must test ride a Z900rs, it will cure arthritis, regrow your hair and make you young again , it’s light it’s nimble,it’s not a 14 but it certainly tries.it can be hard on your liscense and cause erections at inappropriate times.ride this bike hard get off it look in the mirror and you will say who is this old bastard the guy who just got off this bike was a young punk.
(In the state of California this bike has been known to cure E.D

I wasn't impressed with the one I rode.

I go along with Grn
I qualify...so I not only had a Z1 in '56 but thought the Z900 would be a great addition.. . I have never been one for test rides but instead, if serious about a machine , I prefer to buy one and keep it long enough to really evaluate . Bottom line was that after a while , the bike was just boring . I kept it for about a year but just did not ever really find the bike to be exciting.. Looks are almost good but for me, tank is too fat and after owning a Z400 and still riding teh 14 the bike does not have teh acceleration of the 14 nor the lightness of the 400. and both seem to win their own worlds , at least for me as a Kawi fan.
(My purchase of the Z900rs is posted here in OTHER BIKES )

The acceleration of the 14 will definitely spoil you. I began neglecting my ZX10R after I got the 14, because it just didn't have that down low pull and acceleration like the 14.
