New rider/ZX14

I just brought a used 2006 ZX14. It has 20,000 miles on it but looks immaculate! Does anyone have any suggestions on what the common wear/ replacement items are besides tires and brakes. Also what type of upgrades are recommended?

I just replied to another post of yours I also have a 2006 only its brand new... as for up grades I'm putting on Heli bars, center stand, lowering the pegs, and a GPS mount. performance wise i don't think I'll make any changers till after the warranty done. hope thats of some help...

For my first upgrade cosmetically I am going to add on the blue "angel eyes " headlamps and add some frame sliders. What are the advantages of the Heli bars?

Read the whole thread. My bike has sliders.
