So, seeing how it's pretty slow on here lately, I figured I'll tell about the very short ride I did between helping a friend buy an F4 and another replace the motor in his SV650.
So, it had been 3 weeks since I took the 14 out and I was coming down with the shakes. There was a bright sunny afternoon ahead when I got off work so I thought, what the heck, I'll take the bike down to pay my storage rent.
The road I take there has a section of pretty fast sweepers going down a gully and back up.
So, I,m on my way and feeling frisky. A bit too frisky. Pitched it into the first fast right and slid the front big time. Just relaxed and let the bike recover with very little drama other than an elevated heartrate. Oh yeah... cold tires. But it was still fun...
