Perhaps another option/choice for you to consider.
In my opinion, Techspec tank protector and tank grips are brilliant. They look great, they match, and are very practical with great grip.
Plus there is a choice of material and design.
A bit more expensive but well worth it, especially if you hang off the bike a bit...

i second that. TechSpec is one of the more ingenious motorcycle products, IMHO. I will go very nicely with the Gen2 center tank pad or you can get a center pad from Tech Spec. You can buy large pieces of the stuff, cut it up and place it all over the tank or anywhere on your bike you want.
