New lid

Tried a Schuberth C3 pro, but it was a weird fit. Way too tight on my cheeks, yet big enough to pull down over my eyes. RevZilla suggested an HJC rrpha, but before I could order from them, I found one on Amazon for half the price. Figured I'd at least see how it fits. Fits perfectly, so I'm keeping it for $276.

Before your criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you do criticize them, you're a mile away and have their shoes.

Last month I got a really good deal on a new Schuberth C3 Pro Dark Classic. Since the weather here in Maine prevents me getting out on a bike, I watched some television with it on to make sure it fit before the Revzilla return policy elapsed. One of my daughters was home for the Holidays and thought I had lost my mind, even after I explained why I was doing it...

Both my daughters have serious concerns about my mental health status and it probably doesn't help that I have a vanity plate with "ABNORML" on it...

Lol! Same here. The wife kept looking at me out of the corner of her eye. I'd look at her and "what?", She'd just roll her eyes and shake her head.

Well, I was making rev noises, and leaning left and right.

I bought a C3 Pro last October and the salesman talked me into buying a medium, which I haven't worn since I started riding 40 years age. At first, it was ice-cream headache tight, but continued break-in by way of short(less than an hour) stints of wear has upped the comfort greatly and I hope to have it fully broken in to my head soon. It is definitely the quietest, snuggest, highest-quality lid I've owned, plus it's super-light for a modular.

... and good ventilation too!
riding year round in a hot climate, Schuberth C3Pro is better than Shoei Neotec
