The predator is now riding an H2? He must have gotten beat on his 14R!

I'd like to see more of the gold H2 but the Big Bad Woof is still my favorite.

Im sure its a great bike and I will check it out at the Long Beach Show but I cant get over the weight. Yes it has a bit more torque (~14 lb-ft) than say a BM S1000RR but it also weights ~100 lbs more.

I already have one big black whale - I want a tight lightweight bitch to slap around not another whale

Not sure why Kawasaki can't get the weight off these bikes.

My Gen2 busa has 3 ft lb torque more than my Gen1 ZX-14 and I did notice a difference before mods were done to both bike. The heavier and longer WB busa wheelied easier than the old 14. Fourteen ft lb of torque might be a real eye opener even with an extra hundred lbs. of weight. 14 hp isn't much but 14 torque is a lot.

Not sure why Kawasaki can't get the weight off these bikes.

Same here. If people haven't been able to drop at least 50 lbs off this beast by removing unnecessary parts, Kaw musta really beefed up the frame. The supercharger itself can't weight that much.

I have no knowledge of their design or engineering philosophy but I suspect there must be reliability and maintenance requirements that could drive a beefier structure and a more stiffness in the chassis. Some of us prefer Kawi because they are so well built and dont break where the Duc, Ape and BMW are more high strung but require more maintenance and are expensive to maintain.

Design trade off where less weight is more $$ - IDK

If it's like the 14, you can take off 30 lbs without replacing anything. Spend big money on lightweight parts and then you have another 30 lbs. Of course, you probably can do that with any liter bike too.

This is not the next new bike where I have to immediately pull the zipper down where the trouser will not make room for the meat and two potatoes, no, not at 101 tq. My fat ass breaks even I sit on the 14.

NEXT!
