So here's the deal guys and gals, I have a blown 06 engine with 11k miles on it. The engine was ran without oil, it still turned over and started when I pulled it out but had a definite knock to it. I brought the bike like this and did a motor swap on it. The engine is complete with ecu, throttle bodies, and engine brackets. My plan was to build a stroker motor out of it but that dream seems to be slow going away. I'm thinking about selling it but shipping will be high and turn some people off at about $250 for shipping. I'm trying to see if there would be any interest in it as a whole motor or if it would be better to take it apart and sell items that way. It would be great for anyone looking to build a motor but not have to take their bike off the road to do it. Or maybe someone building a kart with a zx14 platform. If I part it out the only items that I think would sell would be the head, cases, oil pan, throttle bodies, and ecu. Let me know what you guys think, if there is any interest then I will take a few pics when it stops raining and post them. As a whole motor I would like to get $1000 for it. I think that is fair for a complete motor setup. I live in Hampton, VA for any locals. I have not taken the motor apart so I do not know what the total damage will be, but like I said it did turn over and start before I took it out of the bike about 3 months ago.

$1000 for everything. You can use it to build a big bore stroker motor then sell your stock motor.
