Performance Tuning any year 14
02/07/09 7:16 AM

This is not rocket science. I might as well say *I ran 5 tre hacks' and did one set itself to retard but rather it is a 'redundant map' in the digital. So, what you feel is more a digital signal rather than a smoother analog fuel feed.
If some tuners read the factory service manual back in 1999, we would not have this continued controversy about how the computer keeps the bike running in a backup mode. A GPS or Subthrottle failure has that backup you just wired into {say the hack caused by the [aftermaket] tre'z or any of a 3 wire variable) can trigger the backup system.
I sort of mentioned a kill story, when I was hooking it with a decent driver in a MBz. I had the hacks off but the one. Only hack was the subs locked and the actuator disconnected is a code 62.
If the FSM said the code is safe to ride, it is like a normal carb'd bike with one throttle plate is how you have to rethink old carb days. There is no liability factory factor of subthrottle speeds. This is but a conservative sub opening on the factory end is they did not know what to expect from the public. The '08 changed the opening and no, it is more the linear smooth-less effort of the bike to let you know what is there if you want all that uninterrupted speed is run without a restrictor plate attached to it.
If I had the subs working on the '08, the day I was sniffing 02 off that MBz, I know for a fact that they are restricting my throttle feed down to the inth'degree. The time I had throttle setup with 5 hacks sure felt different. But to pin point it on my assfactor is another story. I would need a dyno pull on five hacks then shut her down to bone stock analog and see who has the coin.

I run zero piggy for any kind of fuel bump. My bike is very responsive with the subs locked and that tiny digital feel is noticed being code 62 is in play. What I feel is that; you can work each hack and stack it on top of each other; the tone changes or more the asstone can tell how much hack is layered if I rode this thing enough times in all combos of the 5 hacks used.
I tested both ways for a fuel bump being the mileage was dead even at 42mpg either semi stock or hacked to death almost.
Bottom line in my world is I can feel the analog smooth and the digital semi-smooth too. Did the bike retard on the hacks? Did fuel mileage show a change as if there is a rich setting that if the hack was on, the mileage would drop, go to retard, burn less gas being deeper past ideal advance to start to burn the fuel sooner. Well, at 42mpg hacked, can someone show me that retard starting with 1999?

OK, so now, someone mention how that gear position sensor hack brings on a tone to the bike or say that digital ring to the GPSignal can be felt; so I am not BS-ing you is to keep proving myself out. I am forced to read that manual is pick a computer bike manual and now read the code page. There are no secrets to the bike. You have so much telemetry that can fail is repair the bike as per page are the specs. I will keep feeding you fundamental steps for tuning is when you know a few steps you are on your own. Once we see the same page, I need to look out for you now.

I am more high tech is I speak to a mechanic/journeyman that knows the 3 basic Otto-cycles is know the strokes so no one can stroke you with BS-ing is bring me the proof.

The bike steps like fuel is to the spark is better have compression too. Lose one is lose your ride. No BS here. This bike steps over the BS you ear. Cause eye ain't earing dat chit no way no how is how about the factory shop manual show you the ropes being the bike only specs one way.

Can a dyno answer the code redundancy? I think it can give you an answer that. I think it can is did someone dyno the redundant and the A/Fratio did not move? Therefore, there is no advantage to hacking the GPS or the other codes. You may feel the digital, but that is about it for it will map in the same backup is the redundant fuel mileage remains the same.

I just reinstalled the subthrottle system and have a normal dash. I am bone stock with the modded OEM exhaust. I was feeling that smooth motor'inn of a ride. Now, I will reinstall the second exhaust and see if that will cut to the chase of the most smoothest of all.

Now, listen closely... "Are you ready?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odn3rv02IVQ SubSuck!

That is easy for you to say but stupid people like me have to pay others to tune them -- unless it is carbs then I do semi ok.
