I finally joined the 1.2 stock clutch 60ft club tonight! Went to TNT with my good friends tonight and had a blast! Even though I didn't back it up, close enough. 1.301 was close enough. My second to last pass I finally got to race my good friend Traci Farr. She has always beat me. I had my chance since her bike was setup for 8.80 index. We have tried to race since her and Brady started coming out to the track again. Well of
Course when Brady saw what I was running tonight he turned her throttle up. She rides a 1440 Suzuki bar bike. So her at 3/4 throttle went 8.44. Her bike is so damn fast! It was the end of the night and I said screw it I'm gonna leave harder and see if I could go a 1.2, and it finally did! It wheelied it's ass off, and wasn't my quickest overall, but pretty damn cool!

I would say going more and more 5.40's in the 8th is backing it up pretty good. That should be 8.50's in good air.

Thanks man. I have come to the conclusion that i'm going to be stuck right around the low 1.30's. I need more wheelbase or more compression on my shock. Only bad thing is, I’m already down to 8psi in my back tire to hook, so can't go longer, and i wheelie if I leave any harder so more compression will just make it worse.

There's a new hand clutch killa on the scene! My buddy and I went down to visit BG in Tulsa this weekend. After I spent the first day tweaking the setup on my buddies 14R and then a good pep talk from BG we got him to go from running 9.10s to being an 8.7s bike easy! Love the facility you get to race on and it was more than a pleasure to get to meet you in person BG!

We made it to the semi finals in Super Comp laying down some butt hurt on them bar bikes!!!

I get that. My original question was why was the back half so slow? Throttle stop? Backing off the throttle trying not to break out? Heavy dude?

Ok that's what I thought. I know it's common to throttle chop even though I don't bracket. I still can't stomach lighting up the boards. Maybe I'll lower my shift points to 9k and see what it goes. I'd like to dial in something like a 9.10 so I don't scare off any races later in the night.

i was racing 1/4 mile last week and chopping the throttle at the 1/8th and coasting to the 1/4 mile . hard to judge that big of a gap but i went 3 rounds . broke out by .03 on my last run . i knew i was taking to much stripe but i refuse to hit brakes on a track.

i'll give it another run on the 14th . i had a blast for $20.00 fukkin with those guys like that . i very rarely run 1/4 mile .

i was running 9.03 to 9.40 at the 1/4 at 100mph

Yeah I'm thinking lowering our shift points will allow for a consistent amount of ET to be shaved off. Leave like you always leave, make the 1-2 where you always do, and short shift it until you end up with your desired dial in. It would probably end up being around 8k to go that slow though.

AT bike races I never worry about my ET as much as only got to beat the guy next to you and have fun .
