Last month when I took the stock exhaust off, I didn't even look at it very closely......was so focused on getting the new Delkevic system on. Today I went to move it to its permanent home, and saw this!! Someone please tell me this is normal and not that my brand new bike came with a majorly damaged exhaust from Kawasaki??

Normal. Mine were that way too when I took them off for slip-ons. It's probably a characteristic of the metal and Kawi's bending technique.

That's crazy....yeah nothing else under the bottom of the bike looks damaged, so I assumed that these were just thrown on the bike at the factory like this, but that they were messed up!

I'm pretty sure my Gen had one spot on one side where they dented the pipe and that was so it cleared the frame or something like that. I don't think all of those dents are normal, especially not the small ones.

My 2012 stock midpipe had the same detents. Kawasaki tucked it up tight to the chasiss.

My stock cans looked exactly like the OP's pipes when I removed them on my 2012 14R.

I just put Delkevic slip-ons on my 2022. The Factory exhaust look the same as OP pictures.

I guess the concensus is, this is NORMAL then, lol......I have held off from taking them into the dealership to complain, and will let it ride based off the feedback from you all. Much appreciated!!

And.....the Delks look and sound great!!
