Has anyone tried the Lockhart Phillips windscreens? If so how do they fit compared to puig screens?

I have that windscreen on my bike the DB model and it looks great on the bike but the fit was not 100% out of the box....If I had to rate the fit 1-100 I would give it a 79. It took some doin to install the screen because after you line up the first 4 of the screws the other 2 screws would not line up properly so you basicly have to play with it to line it up. Now that its been on the bike about a year it comes off and goes back on fairly easy.
I see that you have the Scorpio alarm system on your bike ....How do you like it and are there any draw backs?
Thanks

Lockhart/Phillips is an ill fitting windscreen that has to be trimmed on the front edge before it will even mount to the bike. It has no bead around the fairing edge which leaves a gap that is wide enough to see the gauges when up close.

I'll second that on the Gap...think they copied Powerbronze or someone.Amazing after all these lousy fitting windscreens they don't feel the need to retool their zx14 fitment!Never again! My Puig DB fits perfect. My Zero Grav Touring fits perfect. My MRA Touring/spoiler fits perfect. My stock Kawai fits perfect. So TWO out of 6 screens fit shitty. And I don't use em now.(Powerbronze,Lockhart/Phillips)

What sucks for me is i need chrome to finish my theme and cant find a vendor that makes a quality chrome screen like Puig or Zero Gravity. I even had my Puig chromed at xxx chrome plating which was less than desirable to say it nicely since i am brand new to the forum.

Not sure how well it would work (or how pricey), but plan B could be buy a well fitting screen (or use the stock) and get it chromed at a shop (yes you can plate non-conductive materials), without a good clear coat over top i would expect the chrome to scratch off very quickly however...
