i hit a deer last Friday. Bike has 2800 miles. Ins is offering up payment for the damage and I want the bike gone.

Where's the best place to sell it? Is Ebay any good for this type of thing?

Yeah, craigs list and ebay but be ready for serious low ballers. Also use all of the different bike forums classified section.

Does the math work out that a crashed bike + Ins $$ is more than a repaired and used bike with 2800 miles sale (~6$K) ? Used/crashed engine s/b ~$2K unless it is all ground up...

based on the estimate, its all cosmetic. there is no structural damage other than my 51 yo body.

wife says its got to go. i cant argue...i would never enjoy riding again.

What year is the bike and how much are you looking to get from it?

I sure hope you're alright, deer are a common problem where I'm from and they can really screw stuff up royally.... the upside is they make for good venison jerky
