The 14R will do 200 with stock gearing. You just need a long enough track. If you go with taller gearing, you'll need a longer track.

3:03 This guy got his to 192 mph and ran out of road. A skinny guy would have made it to 200.

Yeah I want to do LSR too. It's worth the money. Way too risky to attempt on the road. I've gone awfully fast but over 180 on the road with my bike is more than I can stomach. That's a lot of ground covered in a very short time. You never know what is there or what will be there....and neither does it know you will be there.

I can honestly say..I'm in that club. Not officially. But yeah,I've done over 200 with my 14.I think it may have had stock gearing at the time..but not sure.My h2 has hit 201,then I ran out of road.It still had around 2k in rpms to go...Flashed for rpm limit at 14,200.Dash flashed to allow over 189 mph as well.Has the throttlebodies reset to stay open at the top rpm limiter amount. Was still pullin really strong.

.

Anybody done any lsr? Would love to give it a go, have the speed limiter flashed out and was thinking just a gearing change would get me there. Thoughts

.
Check this out ----> LSR 101

.
This include lots of information and links for LSR gearing and rules ----> LSR links ....

.
Happy reading!

The 200(mph) Club is beyond my reach.
Nothing to do with my 14R as all restrictions are flashed to off.
Solely a personal lack of balls.

But I am in the 300(kmh) Club.
Scared the shit out of me but am happy to have done it a couple of times.
Probably never will again...

Thanks Rook, your wise beyond your years.

At 53, I hope I don't get any dumber for a while!!

But I am in the 300(kmh) Club.

Same here just about. Almost 180 and the Gen 1 was not accelerating like it does at lower speeds even with short gearing. I had to let off. There's just too much that could happen with deer and cops...and you're bound to run up on a slow moving car. I'd like to try for 190. I think it could do it bumping the rev limiter with the current setup. Probably best to try that on a nice long LSR course. We just have SO many deer and huge birds on the road here. Occasional, bear or coyote. Perhaps an elk or a wolf but I've never seen any of those. That could make an exciting run turn bad in a hurry.
