Rode to Yosemite yesterday. Left my house at 7am and came home at 4pm. Took Hwy 120 and I was planning to go to Mono Lake. Unfortunately Hwy 120 inside Yosemite was under construction and traffic was pretty heavy due to a summer weekend. I made a U-turn in the middle and came home via Hwy 140. Hwy 140, except one area with construction, was very nice with many speedy curves. I put 420 miles with an average mpg of 45.6 (steady right hand). With the 1.25" handle bar risers, the riding position was better than before. My butt however was really sore at the end of day. I guess I need more meat on my butt. My sweet ZX now has 4840 miles and will have a birthday on Aug. 20th.
