With 4290 miles on my bike the bottle is empty. Must be a reflection of my riding style. I just went back and looked at mine again and my bottle has a hose out the bottom and is tied in with a batch of other hoses toward the road. Slugger had a bottle with no bottom hose or outlet. Two updates later. Looked again. The bottle that Brock was showing is on the other side of the fuel cap drain bottle. Mine was clean.

It's the walk of shame for me; 1200 miles and the little translucent bottle is as "clean as a hound's tooth".

Today's my birthday as well and the wife got me a reclining lounge for the TV room and I'm getting sales calls for medicare supplement insurance.

Feeling feeble...............guess its time to retire to the ;

At least the color matches my 14R!

@ Snuffy: can you put that avatar with the Dos Equiis in the body of a message at a larger size? I'd like to "capture it" for my pc; its great.

My first service today and the bottle is clean. Just took a quick ride home before the weather turned to shit and the bike sounds and feels great. Full service today makes me feel all tingly inside...

Ill be installing the HID lights this week at some point. Already have my LEDs in and the bike looks sweet with the Green. Still no choice on full system. Im just not too motivated at this time to buy anything. This morning I put the cans back on, but left the belly pan off cause I like the way the bike looks around the rear tire.

Im also thinking about replacing the 190/50/17 with a 200/50/17 cause I like the look of the meatier tire without stretching her. My buddy needs a set of tires for his older 14 so I might replace my rear and give him a steal of a deal on the Metz...

The Tech who Ill refrain from saying his name is one of the best riders around in my state. Anyone that does motocross in this state whos anybody knows him or has heard about him.. When he took my bike out this morning he came back and he said... That bike is totally sick and amazing... Coming from him that says alot.

At least it was good to hear if anything from someone in his class. Well of course is pouring out so Ive got the bike put away and hopefully Ill get out there this weekend. By the way it looks like my 2011 ZX14 sold today. Guy that bought it seemed nice and mature enough not to kill himself. Wish him luck with it. Last buyer couldnt get financed so the bike has sat there since Dec.

I havent heard one neg thing about this bike really from anyone and I think that pretty much sums up how good Kawi built this thing... It might seem like an update version of the 06-11, but honestly its a different bike and anyone who has ridden the 14 and the 14R knows it.. Theres very little comparison besides the lines from there on its two different beast..

One thing Ive noticed is the sound at HS. I honestly like the way the stock cans sound on this thing when its WOT. Right now Im pretty much gonna keep it stock. If I feel like getting loud Ill remove the cans otherwise its good enough for me.

Check out is video as the bike comes by. Sounds nasty..

I think the oil was overfilled? If I fill it too high, my catch can can. If It is low, I lose the grunt. I'll say it was way too much oil. It is an air balancer. This is more a step for balance, not emissions per say. Same goes for PAIR. Primitive PAIR was race. Crankcase ventilation was for race cars way back when.

Same effect as crossover pipes. For every suck, there is an exhaust. Connect the dots.

I like the name; Slugger. Kind of name your favorite hammer, Big BirtHA! Mule1 and Mule2 is how I see my 14's. 1/4 kick (shovel) and bulletproof (evo) is how I have to describe what bike needs what parts, when the search is on we go chasing for pieces.

5:47, that Busa is one vibrating dildo. The R? Did you see any? Or, how about... As bad as the Busa's?

This Just in From BROCK>........

Guys, I have received enough feedback from enough 14R riders to realize this is a non-issue. No one even reports having a measurable amount in their little stock catch bottle.

We generate loads during our map development process that you simply cannot duplicate in the real world... Imagine land speed racing up hill!

Smokin had a good point also, I loaded the bike (for break-in) with the break-in oil also... I know it was at the full level in the window when I started. After I installed out clutch mod and poured it back-in, it was only at HALF in the window.

This topic needs to die.
