Ape valve springs shimming

Im running ape valve springs on my 06 ZX14, i am wondering do the valve springs have to get shimmed or can i install them out of the box? Thanks

Heavy springs are installed to deter valve float at high rpm. For no other reason should they be used. As per wrinkle pressure in said direction stated in the video, there goes the acceleration of my valve guide wear. There goes the friction factor, meaning, it takes more oomph to the ramp up the cam to open the valve, effectively robbing HP.
