Whew!
05/20/19 8:10 AM

Hi guys, I have been lurking here for quite a while... was actually going to sell my beloved 2010SE but had no takers thankfully.
I know insurance is the limiting factor, everyone loves the idea of riding one of these beasts but only a select few are "insurable" and even then only with a select few companies.
So, I ended up keeping it and just wanted to give a little nod to you guys and smile inwardly that luck and circumstance had me back on-board.... am I ever glad too! She is an absolute blast to ride, power whenever you want it and comfort if you feel like puttering!
I call it lucky, and happy to be back on board!
Got some Blackpath risers to ease the pressure on my aging body and lowered the pegs,
Next step is the custom plate flapper (for track use only to enhance aerodynamics of course)

Have a great day, going for a wee ride later if it's not raining...

Glad you're with us. I don't think I will ever sell my bikes even if I can't ride them some day. I hope they will bury them next to me when I'm gone.

I am leaning toward keeping this one too... it really is a beast and pushes all of my buttons as well, other bikes look nice also but yeah Rook, I understand your thoughts...

Glad to hear the 14 will stay in your life. My '07 still puts a smile on my face.
I still own my '79 GS1000E since new. I bought it for my 23rd birthday. It would take a six mile wide meteor to separate me and my bikes.
