Took my new-to-me 2012 out for a long ride now that it warmed up and tested the acceleration at my secret spot in Mexico.

Umm, yeah, this thing charges really hard up top. My old 2007 GSXR 1000 you had to hold the throttle open an uncomfortably long time to top it out at less than this bike does. I wasn't willing to go all the way and find out how much exactly; it blew through 280 like it wasn't even there. There is no question in my mid this thing will bury the speedo and more. I am uncorked with a 2WDW tune and Delkevic slips, baffles in. And I was wearing all my high drag touring gear, lol.
