got done installing my new ram mount for my escort rd, my old mount blocked the gauges and I didn't like that, even though this is farther back it seams to work just fine through my dark screen as it was tested this am going to work , thx you very much , wanna shout out to the H.A.R.D helmet system so much better then having a wire and earbud but damn that light is bright when its dark out ,but all good , keep cruising all .,,

RAM mounts are the best in the biz....have them on all the bikes and looking at getting one in my car too.

Velcro will do the trick. You can get heavy duty but that area is so large, regular velcro will work just fine.

Yep,just used normal velcro on mine. Works great.

NastyNotch, I have the V1 in my car. With it mounted like yours, it seems like your body will reduce the sensitivity of the rear-facing radar antennae.

It works perfectly. I was concerned myself too,but all is well.
