Front tire mileage
06/22/10 7:38 PM

For those of you who change tires every 3000 miles my front tire has 11,400 miles on it, I've been too busy to get a new front tire and have just been putting it off and have now decided im not riding it any further without a new front tire. Its the stock Battelaxe, i think its called a bt-14 or something i cant remember, maybe this will save yall money on front tires knowing how far they will really go. At about 8500 or 9000 miles it was looking pretty worn and i knew i needed a new one, but now its just rediculous i haven't been doing wheelies or riding over 70 mph for the last 2000 miles or so. I plan on changing over to 2CT's now.

I changed both front and rear at 8000 miles. The rear was a deathtrap for sure. Front looked ok but I couldn't see running it with a new BTO-16 rear which has better traction. I put a set of BTO-16s on there and my riding got a lot sportier in short order. If you're replacing the front only, don't go with a front that is less sticky than your rear.

1. It looks like a hard center and a soft side.
2. It looks like a straight up smooth shave.
3. It looks like to me a road has rain angle.

1. It seems like I hear a fallacy in the making is listen to pro's that say they are prozzzzzzzzzzzackly.
2. It seems like I hear raindrops in the making, it never puddles like you made the road like an umbrella.
3. It seems like I hear raindrops, I should turn the road upside down to collect the puddle are you wit me.

1. It looks like we are back to 11,000 miles of umbrella riding, we need to aska pro.
2. It looks like we half ass sit chew wait shun is shun one more pro in the know is I am no pro but forensics gather...
3. ... Wing gay ding-ding! Is there a blue in the house?

1. House fulla shitskis, look at those love handles is like looking in the mirror.
2. House full of eyes-thinks someone said a road with an umbrella kind of pick a road, right?
3. House out the door you have a road that is paved upside down someone had a bad day they umbrella'd your street?

1. I did not think so.
2. I think we have a tire problem.
3. I think we have a wheel axle to swing a ding ding my neck brace problem is ask a proWOTT you, how you, who you gonna call? THEM?????

I would: Straight up ride, straight up as much around a corner slow with all that side left.

I would not: Speed up and throw it in a corner, I still have plenty of side left, I'd wait for a new set before I slip up, there is plenty left before one cord shows itself.

Well, you know what they say "If it touches the head, you've got tread!"

Unfortunately its not touching the head, haha.

Young, I'll be dead and you'll still be riding. WOTime saying is down the road, that tire is spent for speed. Ass far as getting you back and forth to school or work, you can keep the coin for car treads. Bike tires come with a bump piss oh shit the front skates I caught it once bit me twice, 3 times I told you I'd out live your ass CRACK!

"I've been too busy to change it"....It's cool, the Hospital will give ya a nice resting place so's you can get yer front changed out while yer "visiting".

Can you say"tankslapper"....fun at 80 mph I'll tell ya that!Every rider should have at least ONE in their lifetime.
