Shifter Leaver adjustment
06/05/16 8:18 PM

Good evening all. I apologize in Advance for this probably simple question but I'd rather ask you guys than make a mistake on my own.

I recently(today) installed a used motor in my 08 and all is running well. However, upshifting has become rather difficult. the shifter leaver feels slightly too high. I've had other bikes where you can just adjust the shifter rod and be done. However, I don't see a rod to adjust on the 08. Can anyone help. Pics would be appreciated.

There is no linkage on the 14's shift pedal, the pedal is direct to the shift shaft. All you do is remove the bolt. Mark the splines with a fine point sharpie first so you know where you were at before you adjusted. Step 22, 30 and 31 here. 61 inch lbs and nonpermanent locking agent when installing the OEM pedal.
