almost everyone is raving a bout the Angle GT's, how ever the Bridgestone BT-30's evo are about $100.00 or so a set cheaper. are the angle's that much better. Looking for decent mileage

I'm acutely aware of performance/$$$ while others are obtuse in their opinions.

The only Bridgestones I have used are BT-003 and BT-016. Both were more than adequate for me on the track and street. I still think Pirelli anything is the absolute shit. I can see if you change tires every 2 months but for me tire changes are once/ year even with Pirelli race tires. I'll spend $400/set for the confidence they inspire + I am proud as hell to have them on the bike just for appearance purposes. I am trying to run a front/every 2 rears and that should help to keep the cost down.

Tires I've tried on my 2013 ZX-14R here in Philippine (3rd world) roads:

Stock OEM Metzeler Sportec M5 Interact = shit tires, no grip, rear lasted only 4K km
Pirelli Diablo Rosso II = good tires, great grip dry, average grip wet, rear lasted 4.5K km
Pirelli Angel GT = great tires, very good grip dry, good grip wet, rear lasted 6K km, same price as Rosso II
Pirelli Diablo Rosso III = so far good tires, excellent grip dry, good grip wet, yet to wear out my rears after 3K km, looks like they will last 5K+ km, 20% more expensive than Angel GT, tall profile... I have 1-inch chicken strips with street use (I have no chicken strips on Rosso II or Angel GT)

So far I still think Angel GT is the best in terms of bang for the buck.

I must be an oddball but I HATED the front Angel GT. Harsh, really bad ride on my bike. I'm running Metzeler M7RR now and really like them. The front was $118 on ebay, brand new and I'm going to be buying a rear for $138.

I am sold on the Metzeler M7rr as well... they stick like glue and instill confidence... Down side, like all performance tires (Low Mileage)... If you can get 3,000 miles out of a rear, that is all she wrote... 2,500 miles and they are looking kinda bad... But that is pretty hard riding on a heavy high horsepower bike...

These bikes are expensive hobbies...

I wholeheartedly agree! I tried to like them. I did 1 set of the ST's and 2 of the GT's and the fronts were terrible. Rears not much better. Just installed a set of Dunlop Roadsmart II's. So far, so good. Will have a better opinion of them once they're done.
