14R Dyno Numbers?
10/15/12 11:06 AM

Is there a thread for posting up your dyno #s for the 14R? Did a quick search and couldn't find anything...just curious about other bikes.

Friday in El Paso (3863ft) I did 14 runs, last 5 were in the 186's, 186.96 highest, A/F pretty flat at 13...

95 degrees (up to 105 in the shed), 4% humidity, will post up graphs when I get them.

Well...controversial as it can become...the factory numbers with all the trimmings were right around 198 HP...torque...IDK...Brock and Gadsen were pulling about 120 something torquewise....Both Brock and Ricky got damn near 200HP pretty much straight out of the crate....on one or two runs anyway....I think it would be safe to say...the 14R as is will pull at least 195 HP stock...before break-in.

Remember...you will get a LOWER read IF that KTRC is 'on' and you attempt a dyno run.

Tire slip on the dyno is VERY easy to get with the 14R.In almost any gear.

My seat of the pants dyno when traction control is off, says about 190 LOL seriously, this thing is a beast, I'm coming off a busa, (which is no slouch) the busa's front end never came up as easy as the new 14's, and the 14 has the secondaries that kind of put it in a "safe mode" take that off and get some tuning etc ... holy cow !

Ya..there's definitely room to build with.Quite a bit actually.When Brock says..."stupid fast"...he's not kidding!

IMO...it's not so much the velocity that ya need to be concerned about....but rather the stopping time....that can disappear REALLY FAST with this bike. It's quite deceiving.

"this thing is a beast"...yup.true that!

That's what I tell new riders, these new bikes are really fast, and I tell them that you need to think about how fast they get going, and that you need a lot more time than that to slow down ! good thing the 14 has good brakes for a big bike, even the 600's have more horsepower than my old GS1100 !

I had GS1000E's.1980 1982 1983.The brakes sucked on everyone.I bought a brand new 99 ZRX 1100.I was riding and it just started raining and I grabbed a hanful of 6 piston front brakes.WOW the front started washing out till I slammed my right foot on the ground.I refused to let that new bike hit the ground.I put my Gs1100 on the internet and this guy from Va bought it for $750.All he wanted was the motor.I took it for a ride and pushed it to a turn at 90.Went for some brakes and right to the bars, nothing.Went into a speed wobble. Was used to the big tires and brakes on the ZRX.Didn't realize what a deathtrap that old Suzuki was.

Hey all I am new here, I bought mine like 4 mo ago. I came off of a 2008 Hayabusa, all that I ever did was put a Tsukigi pipe, and short levers on and it was plenty fast. This is quite a bit more powerful as perceived by me I took it to a place who put it on an older Dyno and pulled almost 200hp with a muzzy full titanium pipe with short can and PCV with a map in it, (there are only 4 online available for it from dynojet# 17-005). Anyway here is the dyno results for mine.
