First of all, the tuner was pretty awesome. He let me stand dyno-side the whole time, let me work on the bike, let me give my inputs on adjustments and stuff.. really cool.

I got everything on, PC3, nitrous, ignition module, airshifter (although that doesn't matter on the dyno).

The bads...
Ignition module didn't work. I don't know if its the wrong one or if its broke, but it wouldn't accept any adjustments over 6k rpm.
His printer was broke.. So i didn't get any printouts.
The brand new nitrous solenoid stuck. Which means i got no nitrous tune-age or pulls.
He claims his dyno reads LOW, meaning i'd get higher numbers anywhere else.
It was an hour and a half each way. lol

The final results:

194 rwhp, 110 ft/lbs of torque.

It ran a 9.02 on pump gas and the baffle in the exhaust. I put race gas in it, and pulled the baffle before the first dyno pull so it naturally already gained power before he even tuned it. Before he tuned anything, it made 184 and 101, meaning i gained 10 HP and 9 ft/lbs.

Needless to say, regardless of the downers in the day i'm still pretty excited.

Your brand new nitrous solenoid may have stuck due to pieces of teflon tape inside the system if you used it on any of the fittings.. I had the same problem..just dissasemble, blow out and go light on the teflon..I also had better results filling my air-shifter bottle with nitrous rather than compressed air. the extra cost was minimal due to the tiny amount needed to perform the shift..

nope no teflon. this is my first bike nitrous experience, but i had been doing nitrous on cars for about 4 years prior

had a dyno pull this weekend just to check bike out 283hp @ 9 lbs i got all the pulls on flash drive ...

and i sux at the track last weekend couldn't get hook-up @ 14lbs.. a 3 year old and a big wheel would have beaten me..

Rob are you running 14lbs with no intercooler or water injection? Just pulling timing on the stock motor? If so we got ourselves one tough motor in these bikes

bone stock motor ..only add-on is a lock-up clutch .. AVGAS... -2 degrees ...20 passes .. i'm testing

can't stay hook-up or if i do hook i'm looking at clouds at 63 inches

Wow Rob.......these motors truly are bricks when it comes to boost. I won't feel so bad running 8lbs with stock timing now......thanks for the info
