New to the "K" world lol. Learned how to ride on a 2004 Yamaha R1 and been in love ever since. Had a few "mishaps" and was forced to upgrade to an 07 R1. Loved the bike, yet it really didn't fit into the whole show scene with such little plastics. As far as raw speed and excitement I was all smiles.....till I rode my Zx-14. Wow.....these are impressive machines!I miss my liter bike but I really can't say why! Wonderful machine and hopefully (with some help from you guys) I'll get to understand my new 1400!

Btw....I have no instruction/user manual. Finally figured out how to remove the rear cowl but can someone please tell me where the hell the battery is located?!? Thanks!

Welcome, now..... Sho me the money. You gonna plastic fantastic? More eye candy is it? Sit on the bike. Place your hand inside your right inner thigh. Right about there is take the plastic off. you will find a battery cover bolt. Remove that and carefully pull the bottom out of the rubber grommet to expose the battery. OR, take the grill cover off, find a thick black cable bolted to the frame. Follow that behind the same cover.
