03/16/10 5:16 PM

i bought a new zx14 2 weeks ago. parked it for 5 days, went out to ride today and low battery , couldn't start bike. i have not started my m109r for 3 weeks and then go to start it and it fires right up. Am i missing something here. both bikes have scorpio I900 alarm systems with proximity sensor's. anyone else have battery issues after only a week of not starting their bike

Check the battery connections, mine were loose.

Not sure if this is a dealer prep item.

I got stranded in the bank parking lot, went in to make a deposit, came out and the bike wouldn't start.
Bike was new to me then, hadn't even looked at the manual yet. I didn't even know where the battery was.
Needless to say, I just about took the whole bike apart right there.
Got to know the bike and the supplied tool kit very well by the time I was done.
