new to the site!

I have a 2015 ZX14 never riding hard til one day I decided to open it up and immedialty after the run I slowed down and the bike started to have a slight bog and bike shook a and power started to fade in and out ( not complete power loss). since then it backfires and does the same once in awhile.

I had similar symptoms on one occasion right after washing the bike. The speedo also went haywire. I believe it was moisture in the speed sensor wire connectors. I took them apart and let them sit a while in case there was an moisture in them. I didn't see any. I put them together and taped them and I never sprayed the bike with water again especially not on the speed sensor. The problem hasn't returned in 6 years. I've been in a few heavy rainstorms too and it's been ok.

On a new(er) bike sounds like a fueling issue to me. The usual steps are new gas, injector cleaner and if that doesn't clear it up start looking at the pump/filter.

We need more details such as miles, how long standing .....

Oh yeah, the Gen2 does not have the speed sensor on the sprocket cover.

Now I remember a couple recent threads about this sort of problem. A clogged fuel filter was the culprit on at least one of these.

Check the “T bag” filter in the fuel pump.

As stated, juan, mileage is key. Chasing tail without more details, you're stuck in the sea without rudder/paddle/sail/etc. Too many variables so narrow it down on the hours the bike has.
