Just got back from the dealer and a quick 40 blast. She is so smooth it's incredible. Got a nice bit of sun today so I'm going to take advantage and get a few more break in miles racked up!

Anyone wondering if the Rifleman's 1/5th throttle mod will work on the new baby....Yeppers...it does.

Welcome home indeed,,,,

Did 100 miles yesterday and I'm very happy with the new machine. It runs very smooth, and the gear box is silky. No cam chain rattle anymore as previously mentioned, and no clutch issues (staling, chatter, etc). I'm going to take it easy for a few more miles and get the suspension dialed and the tires properly scrubbed in before hitting the canyons too hard and see how the Metzlers hold up.

One immediate thing I like is the seat. It is VERY comfortable. Shouldn't have and problems with extended saddle time. Not quite Harley plush, but close. Better than any stock or aftermarket sportbike seat I've ever had, even nicer than my Multistrada 1200.

See, this is a review without schoolgirl gushing and with punctuation and paragraphs! What more could you ask for?

Have fun on that R-wannabe, its a great motorcycle.

The black looks soooo good but shows every spec of dirt...

Yeah I only have 6 miles on mine and when I got home it looked filthy....... but the black is still pretty Bad Ass.
