45+ years riding street Bikes
12/21/16 8:10 PM

My older Brother had bought a new 1966 Suzuki Hustler; He traded it in for a new 1969 Kawasaki Mach III. I bought my first motorcycle while stationed at Ft Eustis, VA May 1971. I rode my 350 Suzuki back to the Farm in Kansas in 5 days. I found out my Dad had bought his own 1969 Mach III. I returned from Vietnam and bought a 1972 Mach III from my older Brother who was selling Kawasaki/Triumphs. He was Drag Racing his Mach III in 1972. 3 Family members with Mach III. My Dad was 49 yrs old which I thought was really old, but not now.
My older Brother is still riding a 1985 900 Ninja and I'm on my 2012 14r Ninja.
It's been a good life with motorcycles.

My Suzuki stayed on the Farm and my younger Brother rode it to college. Later on, my Cousin (12 yrs younger) learned to ride on my Suzuki. My Cousin now rides a 2012 Concours, though my younger Brother quit riding in 2013.
My Father died suddenly in 1986, he was 63. My Suzuki and Dad's Mach III was in the Shed by the Farm Truck. I could not get time off to come back for my Father's Estate Sale, so I don't know what happened to the motorcycles.
Last 3 Brothers' Bike Ride, 2013.
