Can someone tell me how many ft lbs I should torque my handle bar bolts to? I will be installing Genmar risers next week and the online instructions say 8 and 14 so I am not sure.

The handlebars are two parts. The bar and the holder. There is a large bolt that passes through the holder into the end of the bar. That bolt is 25 ft-lb. The two smaller M8 bolts that hold the holder down to the top yolk are 18 ft-lb.
Think of it as clip-ons.

That big silver bolt looking at the blue preload adjuster is the handle bar bolt. The gold ones are the clipon (well they are not really clip ons on the 14, they are clip downs) bolts and these I believe will be the ones you change when you put your risers on. 18 ft lbs for the clipon bolts.
