Well I finaly broke down and decided to check the throttle body sync - my set of carb stix hangin in the garage were getting dusty - after 2 hours of pullin plastic off there they were! - the 2 inner caps poped out of my fingers and went into the void, never to be seen again. No problem, I'll just hook up the gages and let it warm up and check things. What a let down! 17000 miles and they had never been touched, they were perfect! all that work for nothing! if I had only known. Well, a drive down to the auto parts store for a half dozen vacuume plugs (glad I got 6 -dont ask) 2 more hours of putting the plastic back on, another hour of waxin the finger prints and goo off and what started at 10 am was finished at 3 PM. - I should'a gone out ridin!
PS If you have huge hands like mine, have some extra caps on hand, they are living in a tight place - dark too....at least I know I am carying a few "spares" now - just dont know where.

Yes, pretty tight indeed with the monocoque frame. Before I started to sync...I looped some fishing line through (black cap retainer wire) to avoid losing the black caps. Works like a charm.

Not too make matters worse, but according to Hub, the two right bank t-bodies are connected inside and the two left are connected inside. You really only need to test one on each side so go for the easy to reach ones. I had some makeshift equipment to test but it sure seemed that all were synced. Good to know for sure though, isn't it?
