I've been window shopping for luggage for a while, and I think I want to go with the SW Motech racks and Givi V35s. That contour setup.

I'd like to paint the covers on the bags to match my bike. The trouble is, I've got no painting skills to do it myself, and I've got a green 2013, which looks like it would be a pretty difficult paint to reproduce.

Does anyone have a line on a place that can match it near perfectly? I'd be glad to send them off somewhere if I knew they were going to come back well done.

I've heard the candy colors made by Colorite do not match perectly. I just got a bottle of touch up frame color. Not even close to enough metal flake but the color looks like a good match (probably perfect if spray applied).

There is another manufacturer of OEM paint matches that is often used. This stuff is expensive so make sure it's right before you buy.

It also depends a lot on the painter because the candy colors depend on a two layered optical color mixing effect.

Yeah, that's the concern. I know this paint was put on in layers and has to be done just right to match. WAY beyond anything I'd like to try as my first attempt at painting bodywork. :D

My stepdad knows a local bike painter that we're going to consult next time we're out riding.

After that, I'm willing to ship if I know it's going to be done correctly. Hell, I'd even send them to Kawasaki if that was an option.
