Chain braking?

Has anyone had a chain brake on A ZX14R ? I KNOW OF two people that happens to.. what chains are you guys running on your ZX14R's. ??

Replaced the OEM chain when it was almost at the service limit with EK ZZZ. The ZZZ has not needed to be tightened much in 30k miles.

I have never heard anyone complain of a chain breaking but I have heard warnings about converting to smaller pitch chain and sprockets.

Previous owner had one break on my bike. I'm not sure what chain he was running.
