A sunny fall day at Cape Cod
10/20/09 9:30 PM

With temps back in the 60s this week I took my 14 to the Cape.
A beautiful fall day with not a single cloud in the sky!
Slightly over 300 miles and a few pics from the beach...

At the Lighthouse at Cape Cod:

Somewhere around Provincetown(furthest North-East point of Cape Cod):

And at another beach, can't really go any further on the sand...

Ah yes, Herring Cove Beach (on the right side, because the left side is Gay). Herring Cove is my favorite semi-local beach.
And the other is maybe Race Point or perhaps Head of the Meadow????

Good call!It is the right side of Herring Cove and Race point beaches.
They've redone some of the asphalt around the airport and on a weekday it's a great secluded area to drag a knee here and there and not worry too much about cops and cagers. Not on a windy day though due to all the sand being blown on the road.

There are very few board members from our area- we should get together and do a group ride while the weather is still holding up! Feel free to PM me in that regard anytime

We had that day in northern WI yesterday. It lasted about 12 hours. I got a hundred miles or so. I also got the 14 back from the barn where i normally store the busa. Damn, I missed that 14 after a week.

Today we have constant rain but I still got another 100 miles on the 14 this time. Had an unexpected tire spin. zoiks! These bikes don't mix so well with wet pavement unless you ride very soft.
