I wanted to let you know that on the Busa.org site we figured out a MAJOR problem that plagues both the Busas and the 14R. Please DO NOT park your bike next to a Harley for any long periods of time. Evidently, the Harley DNA starts to rub off onto the Busa and the 14R. Soon your killer Japanese bike will start leaking oil and running wierd. Also, you will have the urge to put tassles on your handgrips. So, you have all been warned! :)

I hear if your bike wears the proper cover, that is supposed to protect against that sort of thing pretty well. The only way to be sure a Harley-negative bike does not become infected is to abstain from any and all contact with Harleys.

Both my bikes are safe because they are virgins.

I am not sure, but I've also heard if the bike gets infected badly enough, it can pass the virus onto the rider, as well.

And if the rider gets the Harley virus, it is too late to treat. The rider is said to stop taking baths, and is overcome by an uncontrollable feeling of how *bad* he is, which he tries to express by wearing assorted *tough guy* clothes.

I think I passed one of those infected people who was driving a semi.He was doing 55 in a 70 zone...so I went to make the pass...nothing krazy...a regular pass...in a passing zone...I got flipped the bird as I pulled out around him.I responded in kind(after I got er back in my lane)...have I possibly been exposed do you think?

I haven't parked near any...but I've passed plenty of em out there;)Should I be worried?I've never flipped off any boneheads before.

Hell ya had me worried March last year the first decent ride after my stack was the week before my Tassie trip, I thought I might of parked next to one ! cause half way through my trip two weeks later I hit a wallabie!but no I was lucky they were just two Yams next to me instead !

Tassels? What's wrong with tassels? I've got a set of Rainbow pattern tassels, ZXracer suggest it, and since I have installed them, I have raced that much faster!!!

So I stopped in at a local bar today for A (1) beer and some fried chicken and when I came out I found a whole herd of Harleys next to my bike! Do I need to be concerned that my baby may have caught some disease?

It was a pretty pearl white Ultra Classic though.

Hmm, I own both a ZX-14R and a Harley Wide Glide and I've never had that problem when I park them next to each other.

thats cause your 14 looks like its about to mount your harley... I think its safe like that?... and you know its not going to run from the 14 ;-p
