My dad told me he thought of the front discharge cement truck long before someone else invented it. He had a couple other ideas that someone else beat him to as well. Here's my almost claim to fame, the finger extensor exerciser. I guess there's not much that requires opening your fingers with a great deal of power but since we already have the spring loaded grip squeezers, why ignore the opposing muscle group?
I thought of this decades ago. Only difference, my contraption had weights and pulleys. I still think weights and pulleys would be an improvement on this. Put in reverse and you can do your finger flexors too.
