i'm bored this morning. here's a few pics of my two favorite bikes. my red 14 was owned by a guy in san antonio, texas. this bike used to ride with kruz's zx14 back in the day. road her 700 miles back home and loved every minute of it. you can't imagine how many heads this thing was turning on the way home. bikers and cagers alike were breaking there necks trying to look. this is my weekend group ride monster. couldn't ask for a better bike.

my current 636 is what i ride to work. it gets 37 mpg and is a fun corner carver. i bought it from a guy in memphis after i sold my 650 twin. the black 650 was an awesome commuter, but the upright position was not a good combo for our piss pour roads here and the arthritis in my back. i bought a hagon shock for the silver 636 and it rides much smoother now. enough talk here they are...

have fun with those.
but i never did like the 650's but im really liken that one

i met ur zx with its previous owner hellfire, and with kruz and his zx on my travels......their bikes inspired me to mod my own!!

Hey Mike, Tommy had the entire bike painted over in that killer Red color! He went top dollar on that bike! I've been looking for him lately, can't seem to locate him...wonder if he's still around here in San Antonio? Hey, that's a nice front fender! Where'd you get that bracket made? LOL!!!

is there any way you could do a sound clip of the Muzzy slip ons(if you haven't taken them off already) cause that is the set I'm considering.

jeff, you missed me by just a couple hours! i got in the garage at about 6:30 ct. if you had sent the message at 5 ct i would've made a clip before the swap. i've got a feeling though that the clip would not sound as good as in person. those pipes get so many compliments you wouldn't believe. if i decide to sell them i'll let you know if you're interested in buying used. they are in great shape. i just checked on youtube and the clips sound terrible compared to what they sound like in person. trust me, if you are looking for great deep throaty rasping sound look no further.

2nd that Rev. The Muzzy sound is to die for ... If your not sure on the sound you want, go to as many bike nights as you can and ask the guys to start them for you. This how I made my choice for slip- ons.

after hearing the m10 several times the sound is very similar to the slipons. i think most companies must shoot for a distinct sound for their products.

the plastics are all over the garage right now. the headers have to come back off cause the far right header won't seal with out a new gasket. the can is all smudged up from handling it. i was hoping to have it ready for our group ride this morning but that fell through too. it's pouring rain here this morning and they had the weather forecasted at 30% this morning! i've just got to be patient and what for schnitz to send me those gaskets

the black puig db. you can't see through it at all but it matches the rest of the black pieces on the bike well. i ordered it from onetail.com it's a british site. i also ordered my kickplates from them too. great company!

took a few pictures today. this morning i took some after cleaning the bike, but the garbage can was sitting by the street and i didn't want to post those. here's one that didn't have the garbage can in it...

went riding with my brother to the gym and then we went out for lunch. burnt a tank of gas and got the muzzy badge put on. not a bad day. i kinda wish we didn't stop at that china buffet though

How are you liking the new pipe ? I ride with a guy who has one his zx-14. The sound from 8ooo rpm to 11 is very addictive.

only one neighbor has told me that they like the sound of my pipe, haha. i think the rest of them hate hearing it in the morning when i'm leaving. my brother told me yesterday that it was too loud for him. he buys nothing but yoshi pipes for his gixxers though. as long as i keep moving and keep the bike in higher gears it's no louder than the muzzy slipons. if i get into the higher revs it'll scream pretty fierce. i like it though. i wouldn't change anything.
