I found a ZX6 fan on ebay and wired it in parallel with the existing fan. I also increased the amp fuse by 50%. This stopped the blown fuse when both fans started. Both fans come on when the temp sensor calls for it and the gauge never goes above 1 segment above half. This has worked well for me in my area. Others, in hotter climates, wired the second fan to its own switch. They turn it on and off as needed.

Mounting the second fan will require some brackets and JB weld. (I know, there has to be a better way.)
