Finally had to...

Well,my Taurus finally reached the end of it's work here. Was able to pick up a sweet Ford Focus 2016 model.11K $.27K miles.WHAT a difference. This thing has everything anyone could want.Backup cam,forward/rear warning signals.Siriusxm radio. The whole nine yards.I'm very happy with it.Dealer(legit)got me into it today,my Taurus failed me Thursday evening on the way home.It was time.
I was off today and called about 3 PM to see what they could do for me.Totally awesome transaction...no problems.I really love this little beast;)Silver. No dents.Nothing.Just like a brand new car.I was checking out the 'current' mileage when driving home.It was getting like 45 mpg.Interior is perfect.Tinted windows. It all came together at just the right time.God is Good.Even has lines like my Ninjas!lol.

The Zh2 will have to wait. For a while anyway.Sa'll good.

Sounds like a good price [kbb] no matter the model. Change the air cleaner filter. Might be a door towards the back of the glove box, but that's a toyota placement on the old lady's car.

Grats, Greenie! Nice sedan, comfy and practical with low miles. Yup, the daily driver comes before the bike.

Now I can drive safely!.The part for my Taurus has been discontinued for several years.Had a few recalls on em before that. The dealer said(it was towed over there for the repair work)that they probably wouldn't be able to find that 'cradle' at all. It's a dumb design feature anyway.Bound for problems after going on the Ford forum and researching it.Already had the front bushings just drop out of it in my garage. Then the rear bushings failed.Thank God I was almost home.If that would happened out driving at the speed limit,I would have wrecked for sure.Steering just locked right up.Almost got hit cause I was turning left when it happened and naturally it kept veering left after the intersection.Got her stopped.Muscled it home. That was that.
I'm very happy with my new baby.So much modern stuff in her.I was considering a 'new' car for a while. This episode just made the decision for me.Glad it happened when and where it did.Gonna get out the DA polisher here soon and give her a nice massage.I'm stoked;)Sound system is WAY excellent!

This thing's got TC and a bunch of other stuff.Flex fuel also.Motor drops into a mode when idling.Manual or auto shift.Tires are new.Brakes and handles like a pro.
I'm really fortunate to find this little gem.

I never got to that point. LOL direct hit by a tornado, huge hail, a branch breaks off a 70 foot high tree and slams butt end on the roof..... Then there's the phukwad deer that ran out of the woods right into the side of the box. I haven't ever washed my poor truck but you're darned tootin it's going to be mine until it starts having the little fixits every few months. I'm expecting another 120k miles at least.

Motor drops into a mode when idling.

That will freak you out. I do some errands for the old lady upstairs and she wants me to take her car out for a run since it sits in the garage so much. Come to a stop sighn and I'd swear the motor stops. Then I take my foot off the brake and I hear the starter come on and the engine is back! WT-?

The American cars have a LOT of nice stuff on them that the imports don't have. That car is 10 years old I bet. It's got all the gadgetry my new Toyota truck has and then some. I know what it feels like to get in a new car after driving an old beater for over a decade. Pretty nice.

Congratulations Grn! You have a very dependable good looking daily driver there. That start stop feature you are refering to is called "eco" mode in my vehicle. Mine does actually stop the engine. Due to a lot of city driving I ended up disabling it. Seems like an awful lot of starts on the engine starter.
Enjoy your ride today!
