Turbo options
11/25/15 9:39 AM

Hi guys. Its been a while. I've started collecting parts to turbocharge my 07 zx14. Stock internals for now. I am looking for feedback on exhaust AR options and debating between a t3/t4 and gt 30 style Turbo. I wonder what you guys have and how they respond. .48 AR vs .63AR for examples. I have pcv pti, Autotune, and pod 300 display. I currently have a pc3 in it and yoshi slip ons. It seemed I couldn't get support for that. I'm going to need a rich stage 1 map to start out. Anyone? Romans, I'm looking to make a sleeper with quiet exhaust as you have. I have a tig welder and gas ready to fab it up as soon as I'm done with wife's kitchen:)

What turbo parts do you have so far? Most of it is going to depend on what you want
to do with your bike. Street? Race? Text me at eight06-549-4961 and I will help you
with what I can.

looks nice. Good price. If I had the $$ I might go for it. For now, I'm ok with a little NOS.

Yes that turbo is sweet and does not need water cooling. Maybe that is a good thing.

Rook. How much NOS are you hitting it with if you don't mind saying? Do anything with the springs?

Sorry for missing the question...it's about a month later now.

The kit I have installed goes up to +80hp. I will be starting with 15 shot jets. I plan to increase the jet size and retune in steps. I'm not sure where I'll stop but it seems like a 50 shot should be ample for the first year, at least. From what I recall, the stock springs are fine up to +60 hp or maybe a bit more if you feel kinda lucky. If I get hooked, I will go higher but then I expect I'll be doing some engine building. haha--if I still have a drivers license by then, that is.
