Ordered new fairing parts, so I am gonna list my current parts on EBay after I offer em here to you guys first.

I just spent almost $600 on the four new parts and five pads.

I am using the E Bay description I just typed instead of typing out the details again.

2012 Zx14R left side fairing/cowling. Green. Kawasaki Part # 55028-0439-40R.
New this part sells for $213.00-$244.00 plus OEM pad which is another$ 11.50
This part has a broken tab that has been repaired with a secure, flexible tab I created along with a new grommet for exact fit.When installed on the bike the new tab fits well and the repair is unnoticeable. Overall outward appearance, paint and gloss finish are as they were when new. OEM Ninja emblem will remain on fairing.

New this part sells for $213.00-$244.00 plus the two OEM pads which is another $11.50 for the bigger pad and $4.00 for the smaller pad.

*Note, the right side has an additional small piece broken off the area below the ribs where the foreman grills insert into this mid fairing. VERY small, but I believe in full disclosure, so see the photo.

*Also, the right side has one of the small inner hooks broken off where the mid fairing connects to the face fairing (just below the rear view mirror). I will include the broken hook for you to glue back on if you prefer. Although it does not make any difference if its there or not, from what I can tell. I even pulled on the joint without the hook and it makes not difference in the fit. Overall outward appearance, paint and gloss finish are as they were when new, aside from the small broken piece seen in photo.

This part has a broken tab on the side that snaps into the tank cover right next to the steering column. that is makes not difference and is unnoticeable when installed on the bike. Overall outward appearance, paint and gloss finish are as they were when new.

The first two photos are the inside of the dash boards where the tabs are broken off.

And these photos are of the repaired tabs I put on, as well as the small area that is broken off the right side middle fairing.

Not everyone is anal about smaller things like this, so I am sure someone will need a new green fairing, and will not want to spend the $$$ I just did on four new parts and five new pads. The pads are easily torn when trying to remove, so I will leave the pads unharmed and intact on these parts.

They don't look too bad...seriously.You sure you want to get rid of em?Those two inner ram covers...that tab....I broke mine off as well...the right side first.I reinstalled...never even noticed it.Smokin14 did the same thing...I'm sure several guys have broken those tabs...it fit fine anyway.Didn't you say you were a model builder or something...you could repair the sidecover piece that broke out...and those screws....you could paint those...no one would ever see em.I'd keep this stuff if it were me...you can't see it on the bike...anyone looking...hell...they wouldn't know.Just my .02;)

Where you have the screws...does the fairing still line up and seat correctly?(tank cover I guess it would be?)You did good with those repairs looks like to me.If it were me...I'd be happy about my fix....looks good.That fourth pic down...looks like a scratch?...buff that puppy out with some gentle rubbing compound...wax it...should be perfecto!

Should be able to go to a model shop and get a paint that'll be very close to your green.I did.It matched almost exactly....did my silver bolts with it.Came out very nice.Shit,they're so small compared to the part they're in...looked factory.You couldn't tell they weren't anodized the same color.

You will probably sell these very quickly....they're virtually brand new and in excellent condition.With the pads?oh yeah...they'll sell.

I feel better knowing others have also broken these brittle $%##$# s off, as I did. As I said in anohter post, I suspected others were also breaking theirs too, as brittle as they are.

No, that's not a scratch in the fourth photo, its a reflection. There are no scratches on any of the parts.

Yeah, I did fix em to where you can't tell when its assembled, the tank pad lines up just as it did when I bought the bike, and the screw heads are concealed and don't hinder anything.

Sure, the repairs are not noticeable when its assembled................... but, my loss is someone else's gain.
