I feel for you guys. Down here in southwest Florida, our average temperature even in January is in the 70's.

I knew someone from somewhere warm was going to say that.

I did ride yesterday and it was rather nice. But not again for the next week or so, at least not very far, it's getting a bit nippy here in northern Arizona. Of course you guys in Indiana would probably welcome our daytime high of low forties!

Best Regards.......George

Fresh oil, tank topped off with stabilizer, battery in the house....no need to. Think I will change the plugs come spring, but with no heat in the garage...it can wait.

Living in southwest Louisiana it stays mild during most of the winter. I like riding in the cooler days anyway. I feel for you guys that can not ride year round.

My bikes are in a storage unit that has noo heat at all coming from anywhere unless it's the ground. I need to walk a mile to the storage unit (right now). I'm wrenching away as much as I can stand it....summers coming and I want that bike running as soon as it gets here...maybe a bit sooner!

Mines in the garage up on the ABBA Skylift so I can move it around easily. The garage isn't heated as such but the central heating boiler is in there so it never gets below freezing.I put the battery tender on once a week.
We get very mixed weather over here. Quite mild here at the moment, around 10 deg (C) but was almost 10 below last week! I try and get out occasionally on the better days but we get lots of salt spreading during cold spells so a good clean afterwards is essential.
I'm not a fan of just running the engine now and again while it's in storage so it can go several weeks without starting. Currently laid up with a trapped nerve in my shoulder after a spill on the dirt bike so might be a while before the big Z gets to stretch her legs again.

Yep, we’ve had it really mild lately, but it’s coming. That’s why living here in central Indiana I always winterize. Never a good idea to occasionally start and warm up...just causes condensation in the crankcase...no bueno! I guess I’d keep it ready to go if I was hard core with heated gear, but then your dealing with less than ideal road conditions with sand, salt, and sodium chloride everywhere...especially intersections, curves, and hills. I’ll pass.
