14 pipes on a 14R

I'm sure this has been asked but I couldn't find it.

Will 14 stock pipes (not the header) fit a 14R? Any weight loss or benefit?

Will not. It's just a few mm difference and then mod that fit from there? No header to muffler gasket interchanges either.

No benny imo for losses. Why? Muffler engineers design one after the other until they came up with this overall match. No, I will not match or think I can out match the engineers.

That sucks, only wanted to do it for looks. Anyone ever come up with a way to adapt them?

I'm sure it can be done and would solve the GIVI case problem as well. Is it only a matter of joining the header to the pipe? Is the mouint in the same place?
