I've had a few minor spills with my ZX14 and am wondering who sells replacement fairings for a 2016. I don't see any listed. Lots for earlier years but not for the 2016.

Also has anyone found a good place to get 2016 Golden Blazed Green other than colorite? They seem to be a tad on the expensive side.

Are you looking for paint of fairings? Honda East Toledo sells fairings.

I would not get my hopes up for a perfect match on a candy color using coloright paint. especially not if going with a rattle can.

I used colorite paint markers to touch up a flaw on my tank. The paint match was perfect (metallic spark black). Colorrite is an "authorized" Kawasaki paint provider - the match is perfect. You do have to understand metallic offers challenges of it's own ultimately it will be up to the painter skills & patience as to the outcome of repairs.

With that said, the clear included with my colorite paint markers was hrorrible. I don't know if I got a bad batch, or an old batch, but the clear was THICK like glue which made it very difficult to finish. I requested, and received a refund based on this and was able to keep the paint pens. I'll assume quite honestly I got a defective product, there's NO WAY someone is applying tree sap like that and getting good results. I basically just had to sand and sand and sand the blob down until it was pretty flush with the paint. So the repair isn't perfect but I blame that. I think with better clear I could've got a perfect result, but I'm not that talented of a painter that I want to try to do it over again.

Note that before cleared, the paint will NOT APPEAR to match. Once you clear it, it'll be spot on.

Right now I have a very small chip in my tank I'd like the touch up paint for.

The fairings are mostly black where they've been damaged so I'm thinking I might just put some shoe polish or something very black on them to make it less noticeable. I've used a magic marker so far and that's hidden a lot of the scratches nicely. Once I'm confident I won't have another spill or at least have sliders on I'll start shopping for fairings. Does Honda East Toledo sell 3rd party fairings or just genuine Kawasaki?

never tried colordive. The coloright frame color does not have enough metal flake. if you apply it very thin on bare metal, it will match the hue good enough for tiny spots if you apply it thin. Don't know about the after market fairings, I'd check HET site and don't go fast if you use aftermarkets.

Does anyone know, do 2015 ZX14R fairings fit a 2016?

I'm sure all 2012 through present model year ZX-14 fairings are interchangeable. No changes to the fairings have been made except for color.
