Would anyone know the (VSS) speed sensor's "pulses per mile"?

JD, I read most of that GL1100 setup. He and his cross waves are all over the place and for me to cross check his junk science, I'd have to study up all type of pulse signals to know WATTheck he was taking about.

I am about to try a shot in the dark. I have 3 variables.

1. Tach signal is going through the CAN Communication is a wave.
2. Pulse signal off the right crank sensor, meaning is a wave.
3. Speed sensor and the speedo is CAN Com wave goodbye.

I don't think those might or might not work... Try these...

1. Speed sensor is chain to my throttle bell crank is I am no longer sitting on the bike is it kicked in.
2. Tach signal when right to the rev limiter is no it didn't.... He went right off the back of the bike on that hit too.
3. Pulse....... Yes, check for a pulse.

Hub,

thanks.

Hope I understand you about the crank and tach.. to try those?

And I suspect I will, once I make sure the cruise control box is ok.

Brian used the 14 speed sensor pink wire and seemed to work right away, no muss no fuss. I am thinking conrtol box VSS is broken.

I have a call into the guy at Rostra to replace the box.

Jeff
