What's up everyone. Just got my first zx14 about 2 weeks ago, and loving it so far. Current mods include full yoshi r77, Moore Mafia tune, zero gravity windscreen, Yoshimura led rear fender delete, brake/clutch cylinder covers, quad lock with anti vibration, and looking to do blackout tail/turn signals and led headlights next.

Can't wait to learn more about the platform!

Sure, man! Have fun and ride safe. Wear that full face helmet and it's a very good idea to have your feet and whole body covered with some kind of safety gear. I just hit a deer a few weeks back and I got skinned up really bad. The full face helmet saved my life. I got knocked unconscious by the deer or in the ensuing fall. If people are hitting deer by you, there's your warning sign. Urban environs are much safer IMHO.

For sure brother. I've been riding over 20 years, and the older i get, the more i focus on gear. I wear a Hayden Laguna Arai Corsair-X and Alpinestars head to toe! As for urban v suburban/ rural... There are pros and cons to each. I've lived in 14 states, about 35 cities. Have daily ridden a Busa in Miami for a couple of year, and the same in Upstate NY, i personally prefer rural and suburban due to the higher visibility (and i love curves lol). There was a high concentration of MC deaths down in south Florida from people in cars not paying attention (double the insurance). But, always looking to mitigate as much risk as possible ?? that's why I stay loud and bright hahaha

Also, sorry to hear about your deer run in. I hope you were able to get some chili out of it hahaha
